Bryan is founder and president of Diversified Investment Strategies. Licensed and experienced in many areas with a strong focus and background in real estate, Bryan is keenly focused on tax-deferred investment options, having handled hundreds of 1031 Exchanges. He is well versed in Opportunity Zones, TIC, Triple Net NNN, Oil & Gas Royalties and anything related to helping defer capital gains tax. He gives his clients clear and concise analyses of properties and investment strategies, and he helps them construct and acquire diversified real estate portfolios. An entrepreneur from the age of 12, Bryan started and grew a successful full-time business by the time he entered high school. He measures his success by his ability to initiate investment victories for his clients. To unwind from his busy day he enjoys cooking, boating, traveling, racing and restoring cars, spending time with his family, wife, Karyn, and son Brayden.

STEVE HAKOLA

Steve is qualified as a CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate, Realtor® Institute). He and his business partner, Karen Hakola, have been married and have worked together for more than 40 years. Steve has the distinction of averaging $22 million in annual real estate sales. His success comes from a career of investing and property management that stretches back to the 1970s and a full-time real estate career that started in the 1980s. Today Steve’s expertise runs the gamut of listing residential and multi-family properties, buyer sales, investment properties, leasing and property management, 1031 Exchanges and short sales. When not busy helping clients, Steve is a foodie who loves to unwind by cooking for and with his family or by enjoying a round of golf. He’s also an avid car enthusiast and enjoys restoring cars with his son.

KAREN HAKOLA

Karen’s real estate career began in the mortgage banking business, which was a perfect foundation for her real estate sales career that took off when interest rates were at 18% and creative financing skills were at a premium. With decades of real estate experience, Karen has the skills and experience to successfully handle any type of real estate transaction — in stable or volatile markets. Exceptional finance skills and a keen sense of the market have enabled her to help hundreds of clients buy or sell their home or make a secure real estate investment. Her average $22 million in annual real estate sales has been recognized with a number of nationally recognized sales awards, and her exceptional customer service and knowledge expertise has earned her high praise from her clients. Karen enjoys cooking and experiencing the latest and greatest food trends. She likes to be active and has a passion for travelling and exploring new places.

It is his passion for helping people, however, that sets him apart from other financial professionals.
